About Rochelle Grady

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the Philadelphia area. I help individuals and couples learn to tame thoughts, manage emotions, and break patterns so they can enjoy healthy, satisfying relationships with themselves and others.

I believe stories are powerful.  The stories we tell about ourselves, our experiences, and the people in our lives profoundly influence our emotions and well-being.  I know firsthand that negative stories, stuck on repeat, can create self-doubt, diminish joy, and drain energy.  I’m passionate about helping people examine the stories they tell themselves and the meaning they’ve given to the events in their lives.  When those stories are limiting and hurtful, I help them change the narrative.

When I first started in this field, I worked in agency settings.  I started my private practice to have the freedom to tailor my therapeutic approach to the unique needs of each client and practice therapy in a way that is authentic to who I am as a person.  I consider my work my calling, and I get excited about deepening my clinical skills through ongoing training and study.

I’m a wife, a mother, a caregiver, and a woman of faith.  I believe my life experiences as a partner, parent, person of color, and my Christian faith, add depth and richness to my clinical skills and approach.

Outside of the therapy room, I’m usually spending time with my husband, children, and dog, Bailey.  With a busy household, I enjoy the quiet and solitude of reading and taking walks.

If you think we might be a good fit and you’re ready to get started on a better path, give me a call.
